Just painting

While the aweful events have been unfolding today I have been trying not to watch too much of the news. It just makes me feel very sad. So instead I took up my brush and did this. Not a great effort but at least it soothes me. If only people would pick up a brush or a pen and use their God given gifts to make other people happy it would be a different world. But like many of my friends I guess I am a dreamer......

I couldn't agree more with your statement "If only people would pick up a brush or a pen and use their God given gifts to make other people happy it would be a different world."

What a horrible situation for those killed or injured. My heart goes out to the families and friends of everyone affected by this senseless tragedy. Why can't we all just get along. I guess, I too, am a dreamer.

Take care.

What has happened in the past few days in India is absolutely hearbreaking. But your lovely painting reminds us that even as some humans choose to devote their lives to destruction and monsterous acts, there are so many more of us that devote our energy to honoring and appreciating the beauty in the world.
