Whats on your work desk Wednesday 142

This is my work desk today. Actually it is my husband's which I borrow from time to time as mine is a pokey little place where I cannot work if I want to spread out and which I often do. Had to stop my doll half way to complete a little sketch and story that I have to send to someone. I had forgotton about it until a reminder was sent so I hurriedly did the sketch in pencil. Usually Choc approves of what I do but today as you can see he is turning his back to it all. He is certainly not approving my flitting from one project to the other. Now I will go and see what everyone else is up to . If you want to see where I am going just click here http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/  or click on the blog title it will take you to some wonderful blogs that are listed on Julie's blog.

P.S. I had removed the word verification as I do not like the present one at all. It is so difficult to read but the moment I turned the word verification off I started getting spam. So sorry everybody have had to turn it back on again.

Hi Shashi,
Poor dollie is in pieces! Hope you can finish her soon. Love the sketch of the fairy.
Hugs and can't wait to see the doll all done.

I hear ya about the word identification thing. I turned mine off on all my blogs and here comes the spam.

Love the sketch - you are really good - not only making dolls but making drawings and paintings!

Great sketch, Shashi.

How odd because I get a lot of spam but Blogger deletes it and puts it in my spam folder before the spam comment ever gets to my blog. I wonder if you need to turn the Spam Filters on in the Settings. Other than that, have you thought about moderating comments??

In saying that, I'm wondering if Blogger have listened to the complaints and made the Word Verification easier to read because the last two blogs I visited with the Word Verification turned on were much easier on the eyes. They seem to have done away with that horrible black and white chequered word. YAY!

Shashi, I just realised that you moderate your comments too, don't you? If you do that, you WILL get ALL comments to moderate, including the Spam. If you turn off Comment Moderation and Word Verification, you will probably notice very little or no spam at all. That's why I rarely get Spam through and I don't Moderate or use Word Verification. Blogger has great Spam filters and my Spam folder is always filling up but I don't get annoyed by them directly.

Your drawing looks beautiful Shashi ....what a lovely idea that it has a story with it.

I'm having similar problems with blogger, but I was interested to read what Serena wrote above.
