Wish for 10 arms

Now I wish I had 10 arms so that I could do 10 different projects at the same time. I have been going through this phase where I have started several projects and I am not finishing them. I want to work on all of them at the same time. I have so much crowding in my brain that it is like a traffic jam in there. The standing doll I started sometime ago but only got to the doing the skeleton when I switched to another project. Today I came back to it and gave it a bit of meat but at the same time started the one that is sunning itself on the floor. I worked on the Charmed on as well. Actually I got the arms done for this one but forgot to take a picture. Anyway an arm is an arm so I don't think you are missing much. I think I will name her Flippety Flap. Her ears do stick out don't they. They remind me of the saying 'Little Elephants have big ears' LOL! I don't think we will be talking any secretes in front of her just incase they start flapping LOL! Tomorrow I shall see if I can work on either of these projects or my challenge doll or my petal doll or my Patti Culea doll design class doll or I wonder if I can start.... oh never mind, tomorrow is another day....

  1. Oh OH! You have the same disease I have-I keep promising myself I will not begin another project until finishing the ones I have started already, but then I turn right around and start something new. LOL! It's hopeless.

  2. I know exactly what you mean. I currently have four projects on the table in various stages - not to mention the three half-finished dolls in the closet. And a few illustrations. (But I did finish one up last night.) Oh my goodness. It must be contagious because now you have it too. :-)

  5. Lots of empathy coming from here! I used to say my embroidery bits and pieces were like 'half-eaten sandwiches' and now I've begun to make dolls, I have so many ideas I just can't keep up with myself...............now I've got lots of 'half-baked pies' too!

  6. ROFL! We're all in the same boat, Shashi! I try to do a little on each project most days. Then some days I don't do anything on any of them!! .....sigh..... Looking forward to seeing "Flippity Flop" finished!

  8. Hmmm ... perhaps the goddess Durga could assist you? LOL! And if she CAN, maybe you could let ME borrow her awhile! You will get ALL things done in the time they are MEANT TO BE DONE! Truly! Your Flippety Flap is looking wonderful! I LIKE her ears, Shashi! And I like ALL your dolls - those completed and those not yet completed!

  9. Shashi- I can't wait to see your Flippety Flap....and I have to admit...I, too, have the dreaded Dollmakers' Disorder. So many ideas, so little time and not enough hands. :)
