Doll Street Traveling doll
Not a great picture and not a great doll. In our dollstreet club we are having a RR. The doll is 10" and will travel with a passport and gifts. I have yet to do the passport. Hopefully it will get done before the partner names are posted. If I have time I will tweek her face a bit before she goes off. Anyway she will come back to stay with me after her travels so I have plenty of time after that.

Polymer clay pendant
Today when I opened my blog to write I realised that I had been extremely remiss of not publishing all the lovely comments left by all of you. I completely forgot that I have my blog on moderation. Thank you to all of you who comment on my blog and please forgive my tardiness.
Last night I decided to play with polymer clay so I tried to make this pendant. It did not turn out the way it should have. I think I need to add a bit more colour to it. So perhaps I will put some more squigglies on in different colours. This is a from a free project in Bead and Button website. The project is by Christi Friesen. She does such lovely work.

Childhood memories
I love this childhood picture of my brother and me. It was taken in one of the picnic spots in Pachmarhi (in India) . My brother used to scare me by saying that little crabs in the water would bite my toes te.. he... so I used to very reluctantly wade in the water. As you can see the urge to get up and run was great but the fascination of the camera won the day lol! Cameras in those days were not common and the original picture was very small. But the modern day scanners can work wonders and I managed to get it enlarged and the image has come out fairly sharp.

Water colour Indian inspiration
Sitting on the front porch of our house in India I suddenly thought I should paint so here is what I did. The first one I think the lamp came out pretty cool but the rest.... I would like to ignore it.
I just couldn't get the folliage right in the second painting also it was very frustrating as the paints kept drying up so fast. I think I need to practice a lot painting in a hot country.
Doll class
First of all hello to everyone and thank you so much for all your lovely comments. I got back over the weekend and am slowly getting back into my normal routine.
My trip to Chennai was great. Inspite of not feeling 100% well I enjoyed it. The icing on the cake was my doll class. I had 9 lovely ladies who took my class and made some beautiful dolls. It was the first time for all of them and what a great job they did. I want to share some pictures of the class with you.
Aren't they all beautiful? They all were at the end of the day tired as you can see they are almost falling asleep. But who can blame them after being poked and prodded about for 2 whole days the little ladies are ready to put their feet up.
Pepi of course was thrilled to have made some lovely new friends
