Childhood memories
I love this childhood picture of my brother and me. It was taken in one of the picnic spots in Pachmarhi (in India) . My brother used to scare me by saying that little crabs in the water would bite my toes te.. he... so I used to very reluctantly wade in the water. As you can see the urge to get up and run was great but the fascination of the camera won the day lol! Cameras in those days were not common and the original picture was very small. But the modern day scanners can work wonders and I managed to get it enlarged and the image has come out fairly sharp.

ReplyDeleteI have some of those really old tin pictures from the 1800's and decided one day to see if I could scan them in so I could finally see what they were. They scanned beautifully and I'm amazed at how much members of my family look like our ancestors. The scanner worked like a charm. Even on old brown tin plated pictures.
That's a wonderful picture of you and your brother. I can see why you love it.
Have a great night.
Linda
It has been sometime since I have been to visit your blog. What a cutie you were then....The paintings are wonderful, even the studies, I love them....The ladies did quite well in your doll class. Your becoming a great teacher over there.....Oh and I have to say the Curry Chicken looks delicious. Sandy
