My Dotees
In Dollstreet doll club we are doing a swap on Dotee dolls. The rules are as follows
1. The Dotee must have a fabric body, a hanging loop, and a 'tail'. 2. Make one to three dolls to trade. 3. Make the doll body between 3" and 6" long and no clay face.
So this is what I did. I am not sure if they are what they should be but I liked this shape and made the dolls. They did not turn out as I had planned either but that is not surprising either lol!
Oh I just realised that I have to add a handmade charm to it. So will do that later.

Shashi they look very perky to me.....and like they are dancing.... the little danglies seem like dainty legs and feet....
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable.
ReplyDeleteShashi,
ReplyDeleteThe shape of these is great, so elegant and with great movement. As always the faces are stunning.
I love your Dottie! The others I have seen didn't appeal to me, but your's are totally different. Love the different shape you gave them. Very artsy.

WOW! Whoever gets yours is one lucky dollmaker - I especially ADORE that gold one. Great work Shashi, as well as interesting and different. I love it that you put your own spin on the Dottee thing.
