Summer time

It is hot hot hot here... thought I'd just share this picture I took of the sun from the little garden that we have at the side. It is a sun trap area and gets really hot when the sun it high up on the sky. Sorry the picture is not great as I took it with my mobile phone.

oh, sure make me envious... I have snow. However, can't complain...the sun is brilliant and my sky is a beautiful blue.... the birdies are singing at the top of their little bird lungs and I have windows open to hear them....my life is pretty darn great.

  8. hey Shashi...thanks for coming to have a look at my doll as she progresses...

her shoes are made from Apoxy Sculpt... I form them directly onto the cloth foot...it sticks to anything really well. Sometimes it takes a few sessions for me as I tend to build small feet and even too small shoes... but, just wait til it dries.. then add some more and smooth it well so it has no seams where the new stuff joins... then I sand a bit if I need to.., but usually you can get it pretty smooth with wet fingers or a flat brush and water.. then when it is dry..I paint it with acrylics. These shoes have some pearlized white added to a light purplish colour.

  9. It's a lovely shot, Shashi. I would have guessed it was the moon instead of the sun! LOL! But I love the shadowy patterns of the foliage. Enjoy your visit!
