I have been making this Primitive Vintage doll from Nancy Williams class. I got her up to this point and was ready to bake
Guess what happened when I was baking. Her shoulder plate broke because I had removed the support from her shoulder plate and didn't realise that it would buckle under the weight of the head.
But now after much heartache she is finished. She didn't come out the way I wanted her to but anyway where polymer clay is concerned it is still a new medium for me and I am going through a big learning curve. I call her Wide eyed Wendy lol!. She looks as though she doesn't khow how she came to be after that disaster with her shoulder plate ha ha...
A learning curve maybe, but you have achieved a lot with this doll. She is so full of personality - she's beautiful Shashi.
ReplyDeleteShashi, she's a sweetheart! You did a great job completing her after that initial disaster. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show that, when creative disaster strikes, we can improvise and still see it through to the end. Wide-eyed Wendy turned out just great! Well done, Shashi!
