Neither here nor there cake!

Yesterday I decided to do something different. I decided to bake a chocolate cake. After mixing the ingredients when I came to mix the chocolate, I realised I didn't have enough for my cake. It would have helped to have checked before I started on this venture. Anyway I used what I had in the end and this is the colour it came out as. It tasted fine but it neither tasted of chocolate or a plain cake so I have named it 'neither here nor there cake' lol! And if you want to know the recipe for this just add one bar of chocolate to your plain cake mix made out of 5 eggs and you will get this wonderful tasting cake lol!!

  1. Oh Shashi, you made me laugh with the name of your cake! At least it was edible and the color isn't too bad.

  2. Sounds like something I would do! :)

  3. LOL! I think maybe that's the way a lot of great recipes are born! Glad it turned out well. I would try it but I'm on Weight Watchers...again.

  4. The cake looks great! I think I wuld like it, since I love chocolate, but not really chocolate cake for some reason... bit a hint will do nicely, thank you!

I had troube finding a blog background.. so I gave up!

  5. Well I think ANY cake is wonderful Shashi but with a name like 'neither here or there cake' rofl... how could you not enjoy it. I think that is great...it really made me laugh :D

  6. Well looking at it makes me hungry. I'm eating gum drops but would rather have cake just about now!!

  7. You made me smile as well. I just saw your post about Nightingale, she is very very beautiful. I think the way she is dressed is so pretty. You have such a great individual style.

  8. Well at least it turned out nice...LOVE the name! lol Thanks for the recipe, Shashi....it sounds like an easy one to manage, with or without chocolate ~ ;)
