Out for a ride

It was a lovely day today, perfect for a ride, so Choc volunteered to take these girls out for a ride before they flew off to far away lands.

I made these pindolls for a swap. They are inspired by one of Nancy Williams dolls.
I have not been posting or visiting blogs much as I seem to be having an issue with one of my fingers. I am not able to put pressure on it so for now I am not doing much dollmaking to avoid hand sewing, neither am I on the computer much. I made these little dolls which was a bit of a struggle but I managed it since there was not much hand sewing of stuffing involved.  Hope whoever gets them will like them. They will be flying to Alaska soon.

I just saw your post about your doll making class. The result was fantastic! How long did it take to make the dolls?

  6. What sweet pin dolls!

Sorry to hear about your finger, Shashi. I injured one of my fingers a couple of months ago and had problems with nerve pain in it when I tried to type. It's nearly all better now tho still a little sensitive at times.

    Have a fabulous weekend,
    Serena xo

  7. Oh, I can't wait to see them! Have you seen a doctor about your finger? I hope it heals soon, nothing worse than hand problems for a crafter!

  12. hope your finger feels better soon Shashi... nothing more annoying for those of us who like to putz with so many different things is there?

I have been falling behind on blogging and also on the blog visiting..... I like to make best use of the great weather ...for golfing gardening and just sitting outside on the patio.... it'll be wintery weather all too soon. As a matter of fact..if you can believe it....yesterday a cooler front blew in on 60 kph winds...it rained and hailed and this morning...there is a light frost on the roofs across the street. Accckkkk! NOOOOOO not already!

Later it is supposed to get up to +25C..... go figure.....
