It is so lovely to see the garden wake up in spring so here are a few photos for you to enjoy from my garden. I really love this time of the year in England. Everything is so lush and green.
I almost caught this little guy on camera:-) he was so busy that he hardly noticed me.
These geraniums look so lovely and delicate
This on shyly raises its head
Some have come to live here accidentally. This one peeps out of the foliage as if to ask can I stay here please?:-)
Some are getting ready to unfurl their petals
These are merrily dancing away in the breeze already.
I think this one is just waiting to be visited by a bee.
These are showing off there beautiful colours
Some are bold and beautiful
Some are brazenly showing off their beauty
While others blush and hide themselves
Hope you all are enjoying spring and enjoyed a little bit of my garden. I will start visiting your blogs soon, now that I am back.
Beautiful flowers
ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy
Deletevery pretty :D lots of gorgeous colour
ReplyDeletenothing has really flowered here yet *crosses fingers*
Hope they start flowering soon
DeleteShashi these are wonderful – thank you so much for sharing them. I have a feeling the orange coloured one could be a Californian Poppy I’ve tried and tried to grow them but our garden is just too wet. We do have geraniums though, and they are beginning to flower; I look forward to them every year. You have such a lovely variety of things – I’m very jealous! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara. I think all gardens are special in their own way. Isn't it funny how one acquires plants sometimes without any effort or money. I do have some yellow poppies but this orange one is new to me and a welcome surprise
DeleteWe have some massive red poppies about to open, and I know I didn't plant them. It must be the birds sharing the seeds around – I love it. Everything is welcome in our garden – well not everything perhaps, but you know what I mean. :-)
DeleteYes I find that too every year there are some new plants in the garden which I never planted. Of course not all get to stay though😀
DeleteGorgeous photos of your flowers, Shashi! Love the array of different colors! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs
