Been away

I was away on holiday last week. Really enjoyed it. The fresh air and spectacular scenary was worth going there. Here are some pictures I have to share with you.

Hubby was thrilled to go up the mountain to see the Schilthron as he is a fan of James Bond. This is where they shot the film "On her Majesty's secrete service" The restaurant is not much of a restaurant but the view was amazing from up there. The mountains up close looked magnificent and awe inspiring  .

We did the Great Rail Jounery tour and enjoyed the train ride which took us through hundreds of valleys and over several bridges. The panoramic train was really nice. The only thing that we did not like was the hotels. They said it would be 4 star hotels but they were jus under 3 star I think. But all in all we enjoyed ourselves.

    Oh how majestic, such beautiful mountain views. The Swiss Alps would truly be breathtaking to visit. Looks like you had a wonderful holiday.

    Would love to see all that in person. I'm imagining - well maybe not - but if u are anything like me - you took hundreds of photos. I love the ones you posted and it shows such beauty. Even in say, Seattle - I took hundreds but have only posted a few. I often wonder why I take so many. Are u the same way..just curious. How I would love to travel the world and see sights like these.

      You are right Sandy. I did take lots of pictures. I do take lots and many are simply with the view to sketch. But ofcourse unlike you I am not a prolific sketcher so they just remain as photos😀

      Most of mine remain simply as photos also! But I take them with the same intent as u. Some day maybe I'll get to more of them. Love your doll up top.

      Yes we had a lovely time. The scenary was so beautiful and it made up some for the poor hotels we stayed in
