Waiting is not fun

The most frustrating part about paper clay is that one has to wait for it to dry then sand and add more clay then wait again. You may have to do this again and again until you get the desired shape. I am back to creating my paper clay doll and yes it is slowly coming together but it's taking time and I am so impatient with sanding and drying😀. In the meantime another lady is knocking at the door to come out😀.

  1. I think I recognise those pieces. Are they for your ‘Christmas tree ornament doll’? They look as if they might be. Hope I’m right.
How is your mum now Shashi? I often think about her. Hugs Barbara

    1. Dear Barbara thank you so much for enquiring about my mum. She is doing much better now.
They are supposed to be sepals for my fuchsia doll the one I was making earlier.

    1. I could help it to dry with hair dryer but I leave it on the radiator so that I know for sure that the inner layers of the clay are dry too. But it's ok it is just that I am too impatient 😀

  3. I agree that the drawback to paperclay is the drying and sanding processes but it's worth the effort in the end. I'm looking forward to your creations...looks interesting.
