Started the fun bit
I have started the fun bit of my doll making process. I am sorry I am not being a tease but I purposely left out the fac in this picture because I think i have not painted her face well. Her face reminds me of Barbie doll and I don't like it. I was wanting her to look different. I will have to repainted her eyes as I think I have messed it up a bit. This is the colour scheme I am doing. The fabric is not exactly the colour of the Fushia I have but it looks so much better than the other colours that are closer to the flower. Still a long way to go and I am having fun even though it is slow going.

Shame about her face Shashi, but I’m sure you will get her just how you want her in the end. From what I can see she is already looking very special. I hope you are enjoying the weekend, Barbara. x
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara I have painted the face now a bit better but still not what I wanted it to be like. I think I liked her when she was not painted😀
Deletelooks like a nice start :) I'm sure the faced looks fine
ReplyDeleteI will have to live with it Jen now😀
DeleteShe is looking splendid, Shashi! Maybe her face isn't as bad as you think it is? We can be our own worst critics, after all. If it really bugs you, is there any chance you can paint over her face — or the parts that bug you — with gesso and re-do the face?
ReplyDeleteHi Serena yes I have actually done that now thanks for the suggestion but you know I think I liked her better not painted.😀
