Fushia

Well I am back and my doll is completed at last. I managed to repair her wrists but she might develope arthritis in her old age πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.
I could not get rid of the Barbie look perhaps I should not have used the Barbie hair on her. When I look at her picture I can see all sorts of things that are wrong with her but it has been a huge learning curve for me with paperclay sculpt. I really liked her when she was not painted. Maybe I will make one that won't be painted another time.
I shall come and visit your blogs soon. I have neglected everyone far too long.

  2. Dear Shashi,
I smiled when I read about your doll developing arthritis in her old age, what a thing for her to contemplate, but she has a good few years before she need worry too much about that. :-) I don’t see anything wrong with her at all. She is beautiful and in no way reminds me of Barbie. It’s a shame you can’t look at her with my eyes. I never cook a cake or a meal without picking fault with it, Terry can tell me it’s delicious until he is blue in the face but I never quite believe him.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting on so many of my blog posts it was really sweet of you. It's damp and grey in Somerset this morning but perhaps it will be brighter where you are, or at least I hope it is. Have a lovely day.

    1. Dear Barbara, thank you so much for your lovely comments. I am glad that is liked by many. I hope Terry is better now and you are taking rest. Yesterday was a glorious day here but today it has been dull and gloomy what a contrast!

    1. Thanks Sandy. Yes the colours are striking although I did not think initially to use these colours. I could not find the actual Fushia colour that I was looking for so had to settle for this
