Hello all, I certainly have not forgotten you all or fallen off the edge of the earth but life is such it happens. I have not been very creative of late however I managed to organise my colour pencils at last. I found this storage case in Amazon which can hold upto 73 pencils. At least now my inktense pencils will not rattle about in a box, which was so inconvenient. In one of the online classes the intstructor showed how she put a label so that she could at a glance tell which pencil was what colour. As you all know it is very difficult to tell what colour of green or red or blue the pencils are until you mix them with water. So she made a swatch of each pencil and stuck it in the case. I think I will just post a picture which explains better me trying to do it.

I think I am out of practice writing this blog. You won’t believe me that this is the 4th attempt at writing this post without deleting it by mistake 😄
I would believe it as I've been thinking about writing something for at least four months and had several abortive attempts before giving up. Well done on getting yours written and posted.
ReplyDeleteI love all your pencils, just looking at them takes me to a happy place.
Nice pencil case, Shashi! I do love my Inktense pencils and I feel colour swatches are a great idea, especially for watercolour pencils. It can be very difficult to know what a colour will be until the water is added. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are keeping well. I haven't been online much as I lost my much loved fur-kid back in February. I did a post about it back then but have only just posted again this week...so it's been a fair time away from my blog. My heart wasn't in it after losing my best friend and then, I had surgery in May. and am still recuperating. Life sure does happen...lol
Have a lovely weekend!
looks like a good case :)
ReplyDeleteand blogging can be a tad tricky after not writing for awhile :)
I've often wanted to get Inktense pencils - but I always forget to stop by Michaels when I'm down the hill. Love how they look so organized.
ReplyDeleteThe little colour swatches are pretty if only for a great photo ... but a great idea too for telling at a glance what pencil you pick up .... perfect.
