After a lot of procrastination and dilly dallying I managed to felt these. Now I can start planning the costume for my doll that has been waiting in the wings for soooo long. I still have a little more felting to do but that will get done as the doll progresses. I wanted to do this felting after I took a course in A for artisic last year. I could not get the right colour of white. I would have preferred a very white prefelt but what I got was rather an off white prefelt. Anyway I have added a bit of other tones and hopefully it will not matter too much.
The only felting thing that I know about is needle felting with wool fluff to make some little bears.... I'll be interested to see what it is you are up to with this type of felting....

Deleteoh, good to see you posting too. Looking forward to the beading also..nice. I have often wanted to learn to bead. I just know myself enough to say No..I'll get carried away and buy way too many beads and then they will sit around doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteYes beads can be addictive. I have for ed myself to stop buying them. The beading i am doing is a bit random . Hopefully it will look good
DeleteI bought some beads about 15 years ago and (at least it was like four litle plastic bags with a bead assortment..) and never did anything with them. I really want to but I just can't. Enjoy the week because I find they go so fast anymore a week is about four days long.
