So here is my Dear Deer Doll . I did this class in a virtual doll conference which was organised by Adele and Leslie. The conference was called The Art Summit. I enjoyed it very much. Hope you like her.

I have been busy
After my back surgery I had some time. So decided to join in the ArtSummit organised by Adele and Leslie . It was a virtual conference with lots going on for 3 days. I took a class with Colleen Who taught us her Dear Deer doll in paperclay.
Paperclay I find is not easy to work with especially when the doll is only 10 inch tall. Anyway this is how far I have got to after a few mishaps along the way. Now that I am nearing the clothing bit I had a fabric in mind which I had bought when I went to India last. I have spent the whole morning morning trying to find this fabric and I have not been able to find it. The elves have well and truly hid this.😄. Does this happen to you too?

Little Progress
It has been slow progress with these two. I have been suffering from backache so haven’t been able to do things. Got myself scanned and they said I needed an operation. So this picture was taken before I went for my surgery. Sorry the picture is not great. Had my operation yesterday. Today feeling a bit better but was getting bored so thought of updating the blog while I am in the hospital. Nothing else to do. Hopefully tomorrow I will get discharged.
But have to take things easy for sometime after that. Hope you all are well and safe and taking care of yourselves.

After a long time
Well it has been a long time and so much has changed in our world. I am still around although I don’t know if anyone is going to read my post. Hope everyone is well and safe. Last year sped by so quickly. I was most of the time looking after hubby. Due to his medical condition he was falling ill frequently. We had to cancel our big summer holiday that we had planned. We didn’t know if we would be able to celebrate Christmas and go and see mum etc. Anyway end of the year things started looking up. We stared to plan again for our big holiday and planned for my friend to come visiting. Plus we went to see my mum in India. It was then that everything started going wrong in the world. We just managed to get back and went straight into isolation. 5 months in isolation has taken a toll as well. All my physical activities reduced even though I kept moving about in the house it did not help. Infact it now looks that all that frantic household activities I got busy with have taken a toll on my back. Have been suffering with back pain and at times barely move about. Now that we can go out I have to be careful how much I walk as my back can’t stand it.
So my creative side has been at a standstill. This is a project I started last year and I still have not got round to finishing it. Hope you all have not been like me
Take care and stay safe

New visitor
I have been able to post this video of this cute little fellow that has been visiting us lately. I am only hoping he won’t bring his whole family once he grows up😄.
