Will this pass? As you know, me and paper craft are two things very much apart LOL!
I would like to thank you all for your kind comments. Sheila thank you so much for your tips. Kai pressing plants and flowers in between fabric is not my idea and yes I wish you had said something then I perhaps would have thought of it. I am so shortsighted sometimes. Well one learns by ones mistakes. I was just trying out the technique which is explained in Embroiders Guild.
Shashi, your pages look great. I've seen several examples of your journal work in the other RRs we've been in together and you do lovely pages in all of them. There are NO rules to this, and you do just fine!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't sell yourself short. I believe you and paper are best of friends...love the pages.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cute, Shashi. I love the cup. It is all very cheerful and has unity, which I find is the most difficult to achieve in papercraft. You are doing a great job! Honestly.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty pages! I love donuts- yummy.

As Isabella said, these two pages are very cohesive. It's a wonderful spread! I think paper takes longer to build confidence with. You're doing great!
ReplyDeleteRe: the leaf/flower pressing, I didn't say anything 'cause I figured you knew better than THIS crazy old Comanche! LOL! As for your pages - WOW! I can't WAIT till you get ahold of MINE! You did a wonderful job, Shashi!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pages Shashi. Looks like a yummy recipe too.
ReplyDeleteMe too!! Cant wait to see what you do with mine..I really enjoy seeing all the different styles and Shashi You got Style!!! hugs Jan D
