While my husband was busy with his business meetings this is what I did there. I found a bead shop which is run by a Canadian lady and took a course in bead making. Here are some of my attempts. I enjoyed the course very much and loved the way the beads turn out. No matter what colour you mix or what you do they all look great. Mine are not perfect infact the red one has developed cracks but it was fun.
So here is a small puzzle for you to solve. This a bead that went disastrously wrong LOL. Can you guess what it was going to be? I will put the correct answers in a hat a do a draw and the winner will get a little surprise prize from me.
I Know...I know..it is a frog! Nice work Shashi. I love the beads. Lucky you got to take the bead making class. Good to see you back.
ReplyDeleteHugs...heera
Are these polymer clay beads? You did great in the class, Shashi!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess the bottom one was a little tree frog sitting on a cherry?
Linda
That must have been a blast! Yep, I can see the frog too.
ReplyDeleteI can see a frog...
ReplyDeleteyepper it's a frog to me also holding a heart...teehee okay so maybe just a red bead...teehee
ReplyDeleteI have to go along with everyone else. It looks like a frog to me, too, Shashi! And your beads are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBong, bong, bong! That's Kai chiming in with the chorus! Definitely a tree frog clinging to a cherry! See, Shashi, how good you are at this bead-making despite one lil' accident? We can all tell what your bead was to BE!
ReplyDeleteWell I will be different and say a little green lizard roflol!! Woohoo did I win!! Lovely beads!!
ReplyDeleteLittle froggy :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great class and cool beads!
Glad to have you back!
Helen
Shashi.. He looks like a little gecko to me .. maybe with the cherry or an apple?
ReplyDeleteA little lizard or frog sitting on a red mushroom would be my guess.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to take a bead class - what fabulous beads you made.
It sounds like you had a wonderful trip!
A big lizard on a little apple.
ReplyDeleteYou did good. Your beads are really nice.
I think frog first and lizard second but it is one of them for sure. Love your beads!!
ReplyDeleteLampwork!! Oh, I WANT to learn how to do that. Some day... In the meantime, just because I want my answer to be different, I am going to guess a grasshopper. (Though I'm pretty sure it's a frog...)

ReplyDeleteit's good to have you back!!!
thanks for those lovely pics. Your trip sure was a nice one!
I love those beads!and that curious broken one looks like a French...oh sorry.... a frog... but that seems too obvious... I'd rather say 2 salamanders kissing each other on a cherry....????
hugh, am I that bad????
Big hugs!!!!
Oh most definitely a little froggie. Maybe one of those tree frogs even? I'm always amazed when people do lampwork ... it looks so scary to do with that flame. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat hotel is amazing!! The beads are great - I've always wanted to try glass beads! It's a frog!!!
ReplyDeleteOk I saw a froggie too! but maybe it was becus I saw a great big one yesterday by the stream as I was searching for a spot to plant some veggies...LOL!!!
