Watercolour painting
We are learning to paint the environment this term and last Friday we were taught to paint tree trunk so here is my effort. I was in two minds whether to go or not but I am glad I did as it took my mind off the pain for a while at least. The second painting is my homework. I am afraid it is not up to the mark. We were asked to do a tree unfortunately there are no interesting trees in my back garden so the tree I painted is terrible. I know I could have done the leaves with sponge which makes it look much better but I wanted to do it with the brush and I just can't get the hang of painting bushes at the moment.

Sorry to hear that you're still having pain, but the trees are great. I really like the bark on the top one - such a tactile texture to it.
ReplyDeleteI think they are both grand! You are getting so good with watercolor!

Shashi, I'm so sorry you're still not feeling well. PLEASE, take care of yourself because you are very loved! As for your paintings, they're MARVELOUS! I can't even imagine doing something so realistic! Beautiful! I love the 'softness' of watercolor paintings, and am in awe of people who can do them!
ReplyDeleteI hate hearing you are still in pain. It looks like you aren't letting it slow you down, though. I love seeing your water color pictures. They look quite good to me!
