Water colour Indian inspiration

Sitting on the front porch of our house in India I suddenly thought I should paint so here is what I did. The first one I think the lamp came out pretty cool but the rest.... I would like to ignore it. I just couldn't get the folliage right in the second painting also it was very frustrating as the paints kept drying up so fast. I think I need to practice a lot painting in a hot country.

  1. These paintings are wonderful Shashi; I hope you are going to frame them and put them on your wall! The first one especially will be a lovely reminder of India.

  4. I hope you are feeling better now. Your paintings are wonderful. They capture the mood and essence and I think that is hard to do. Try not to be so critical of your painting as you do such wonderful work!
