Photo a week 3
Today I decided to take a long walk and also visit our local arts museum which I am ashamed to say I have not done yet. I also took my camera along with me to see if I could get some pictures. Unfortunately the museum was closed and I couldn't get inspired enough to find anything interesting on the way. I came home and wandered into my garden.
I came upon this nest. I think the birdie must have started nesting before we had our heavy rains. Poor dear has I think lost the nest it is all soggy now. I don't remember seeing that nest there before last year.
There were signs of coming of spring everywhere......

Love the nest. I always heard that if you find a nest, new life is going to be heading your way, maybe new life in a creative way, or employment way, something... So seems like you have something new coming your way. I enjoyed your garden photos.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing the new growth of spring, I wish it was spring here but unfortunatly we still have a month or so of winter left. the last photo looks b/w I like it a lot. (:
ReplyDeleteLovely garden photos!
ReplyDeleteWe had a few sunny days here but Sprinf is still far away, it is so nice to see gree colors!
Great photos Shashi, the Camellis is one of my favorite, sure wish I had one..buds of any kind would be OK :}I enjoy seeing your burst of Spring..and will be looking for the full flowers..
ReplyDeletethose are really nice photos :D Its so nice seeing flowers starting to come up after have a cold winter (no flowers her besides snowdrops though. Hopefully the bulbs start to come up soon)
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos! The buds are so pretty with their promise of spring.
ReplyDeleteLooks like spring is getting ready to appear for you and you will soon have flowers in bloom. Quite a change from last week when you had the blizzard!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better and recovering from your surgery.
Beautiful photos! Happy to see that Spring is arriving there by you. Over here a few things are sprouting too and soon we will have flowers.
ReplyDeleteYes, spring is coming, but the days are still so gray and dreary, just like that last sky. The *promise* of a little color does pick up the spirits a little even so!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great to see the buds and new growth and know that winter won't last forever after all.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be living vicariously as far as flowers are concerned...for quite some time yet.....sigh....... we still have snow and big icy ruts in all the side streets.
ReplyDeleteShashi, dear, I am ashamed to say I did not know you were doing the Photo a Week thing! How did I miss that? You must think I'm terrible not responding to any of your posts. I'm so sorry. These photos are just gorgeous. I'm happy that it's beginning to look like spring in the UK, it's still winter here and not even a crocus has appeared yet. Maybe I'll go out today and see if I can find some sign of them!
ReplyDeleteLove this post and those photos are beautiful..!
ReplyDeleteI love the first signs of Spring - I was in London briefly last week but there was no sign of mild weather - it was freezing cold..!
Perhaps another feathered couple will claim the nest and complete it after it dries out.
ReplyDeleteYour plants all look so healthy and bursting with new life. Love the photo of the tree and can just imagine how pretty it will be when all its new leaves open. Great photos, Shashi!
I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THE DOLL FINISHED, I LOVE THE POSITION OF HER HANDS BEAUTIFUL MOVMENT .
