Meet Ruby. She is done at last. I got a bit behind with her because life does happen at awkward times.
I forgot to make knees for her so she is rather stiff legged lol! She will just have to hang somewhere and when she gets tired she will just have to have a lie in a darkened corner. I must remember not to use Mod Podge to seal next time. Even though I used matt finish it gave the doll a bit of a glossy finish which I did not want, so I sand papered it a bit again. I think she has bit of a squint but that makes her different isn't it lol!.
she's amazing! you are really stretching your wings lately! good for you!
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely Shashi....you've aged her beautifully. And I can't see any sign of a squint!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, she is gorgeous even if she has no knees. I like her outfit a lot.
ReplyDeleteShe turned out to be a perfect Gritty Jane ..... ya can't see her legs, so... nobody will know.....
ReplyDeleteI like the slightly glossy finish....

ReplyDeleteWow Shashi, she's great. Quite a departure from your usual work too. I have to laugh about the "no knees" thing though. That's funny.
