Finished my long ago project
So here she is. She turned out ok but if I were to make her again I certainly wouldn't pose her this way. I really don't know why I made her to pose this way because I don't like this pose but can't do anything about it as I decoupaged her body so can't move the arm. As for her name well my mind is drawing a blank :-) any suggestions?

She's beautiful! I do like the pose - and I love her wonderful red hair and costume. I am so glad you finished her Shashi! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Jules, I thought her head was a bit too big for the body so I just put a crochet cap on her
DeleteShe is wonderful. Love the green of her skirt.
ReplyDeleteYes I think the green sort of uplifts her a bit
Deletevery pretty :) she looks very sassy posed like that :)
ReplyDeleteLol Jen I didn't think of it like that .come to think of it she does look a bit sassy:-)
DeleteShe's lovely. "Spring" has a wonderful expression and I think the pose is good, leaving it to the viewers imagination of what she will be doing.
ReplyDeleteBeth Ann maybe if I had drawn an open mouth she could have been little miss muffet :-)
DeleteHello Shashi, her costume and the way she is standing remind me of Irish dancing and the green also fits that theme. She is very pretty, and I love her name. I was sitting here trying to think of one when I read the end of your post. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Barbara. Yes she could be Irish too with her red hair and green costume. Never thought of that though
Deletei like her pose - i think it's cute and her outfit - nice job on her!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandy
DeleteDear Shashi, I just wanted to thank you for visiting and giving me the info about Goodnight Mr Tom, I was going to look for it last night but other events took over and I didn't get the chance. Hopefully I will find it tonight. Thanks again, Barbara
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely, I haven't made a doll for ages
ReplyDeleteShe is lovely and like Barbara, I too started to think for the name when I read the end of your post and found 'Spring' as a perfect match !
