I did not think we would get snakes in such a built up area but I was wrong! It may not have been a poisonous snake but it was a snake and that is enough to give me nightmares :-)
I planted some morning glories last time when I was here and they are happily blooming now. Love the vivid purple colour. Sad though it does not bloom right through the day.
Hope they escaped and found a home elsewhere! Let's hope so! Beautiful colour of that morning Glory, Shashi.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too.
Deletesnakes are harmless, even the venomous ones are not that dangerous as long as you don't get close to them :)
ReplyDeleteTrue but they do give me the creeps :-)
DeleteJennifer (comment above) might be right but I would not want to put it to the test! I do hope Mr. G is OK. I've never seen a purple morning glory, I love the colour. x
ReplyDeleteMe too I'd rather they did not visit our garden. Yes I think the morning glory is a beautiful colour.
Deletetrying to post but it isn't going through - trying again.
ReplyDeleteSnakes - i don't mind for the most part - probably because my son raised them and once in awhile would come sit on my bed and talk and bring his snake in which I let cuddle up on the bed. But then I probably would be scared finding one on the ground somewhere. Love morning glories - use to have them where I lived.
Oh goodness I couldn't go close to them let alone let them cuddle up near me. I would probably scream the house down if I had a son who brought them along with him Sandy lol.
ReplyDeleteEven I agree with Barbara that may be Mr. sssnake as well as his other counterparts are not harmless, but I am in no mood to experiment ! Wish to find Me.G soon BTW you have named them cute ! Like the characters from the ' jungle book' .
ReplyDeleteYour morning glories are beautiful .I don't know in what season they bloom but right now we are having them in Kerela , not Bangalore . beauties !
Yes Kokila the morning glories are beautiful. The unfortunate thing is I can never catch all of them flowering all at the same time. I guess they open their petals at unearthly hours before I am awake. I seem to catch only an odd one or two open.
