Whimsical little fella
Little whimsical fella in the making. Just wondering if I should use the first body shape or the second . I most probably will go with the first one. They look rather funny a bit like a headless chicken :-) :-)
This guy is going to be unique, for sure. You had me searching on the sidebar to review your tutorial on finger turning. How big is this figure's fingers? They look so tiny. xx, Carol
Hello Shashi, I can’t wait to see how your ‘headless chicken’ develops. The arms and legs look amazingly realistic. I hope you are fully recovered now. xxx
Can’t wait to see him finished.
ReplyDeleteStill trying to get the head the right shape
DeleteI'm turning my head almost upside down trying to figure out how it all will go together lol :) looking forward to seeing the finish :)
ReplyDeleteLol it does look a bit weird I think Barbara might guess what it is
DeleteI think I know what you're going to do - but I'm not sure!
ReplyDeleteHow are you Shashi, is your back ok now?x
My back seems to have settled Jules. Thanks for asking. Let's see if what I am going to do is what you thought :-)

The fingers are not so tiny as they look Carol. This one is about 4mm wide and 20 mm long. Some of my other dolls have even slimmer fingers than these
ReplyDeletelove the body shape and to me in the last photo - it looks like little whimsical chickens and roosters. This will be fun to see how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteI am having fun making this as well and I hope it will turn out the way I want it to
DeleteIts good to see you make dolls again Shashi. This one looks pretty interesting. I like your watercolor flowers too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Heera
Deleteokay.... ya got me......... now, I'll have to keep returning just to keep a check on this guy!
ReplyDeleteWell I hope I can get his head the shape I want it to be. It is proving to be a bit of a challenge at the moment
DeleteCan't wait to see how this evolves!
ReplyDeleteFinally I got the head right so let's see if I have the time to finish this soon
