Getting back slowly

Hello everybody. I am slowly trying to get back into the swing of things. The past couple of months have been very stressful and busy. Have been driving my husband into London for hospital visits. Then he had a surgery which normally should be simple but he had complications so his stay in the hospital became a whole week instead of a day or two. We have another visit to the hospital before we know that his life will return to normal. All this has really been very stressful so nothing creative has been happening here.
Yesterday we had a glorious sunset which I saw from our bedroom window. I think Spring is definitely here inspite of a frosty morning today. Hope you all are keeping well. I shall start visiting your blogs once I get into the swing of things but for now I might just read and not comment on your posts.  In the meantime you can also enjoy the view from out window I hope.

  1. nice sky photo, the colours are gorgeous :)

sorry to read about all the problems you guys have been having, very stressful :(

  2. Beautiful photo. Sorry to hear about all the problems you both have had to contend with.

  3. I hope your husband is on the mend. Sending lots of positive vibes your way :)

  4. Once this is behind you both, you can start to enjoy the sunny skies and warmer temps that spring brings. All the best.

  5. Dear Shashi, life must be very difficult for you at the moment, which makes your visit to my blog even more special. Thank you so much for taking the time to say hello. I am thinking about you both, and hope things improve really soon. The picture from your window is just gorgeous, thank you for sharing it. Hugs Barbara

  6. Love the view from your window. Along with everyone else I'm sending best wishes for a speedy recovery for your husband, and that you're able to start playing with your wonderful art.

  7. Hi Shashi - I hope by now all is well with your husband and life is getting back to normal. Hospital trips, stress, tests, all that is so depleting on one. That sunset is gorgeous! Spring is here but so are the spring heavy winds that we get this time of year. I'm still waiting after 3 days for them to die down so i can get out and walk.

  8. HI Shashi,
    I am back!
So sorry to hear your husband is not feeling well. Hope he has a speedy recovery soon and you can get back to your lovely art.
    Sending healing hugs your way,

  9. Hi Shashi,

So sorry to hear your husband has been ill and even needed surgery. Sending prayers and healing thoughts his way. I hope he has a full recovery. I understand fully how life can get turned upside-down when a close family member becomes ill. I've been there myself. I hope you are finding time for some rest and relaxation for yourself....so important but I know it's not an easy thing to do when people are depending on your. Take care.

By the way, what a lovely view from your window!

    Love and hugs xo
