Spring- such a wonderful time of year

Spring is such a lovely time of the year when the garden starts to burst with colours.

The birds become so busy

The resident robin keeps following me when I go into the garden. He even comes and peeps through the door of the garden shed and chirps. Don't know what he is trying to say to me but may be he just wants me to get lost as he considers the whole garden his territory :-). Today I almost stepped on him, he was so close to my feet!

A walk in the forest to see some magical works of nature

  2. I have missed you! For whatever reason, I 'lost' you for a while there, and couldn't connect to your blog site. So, I was so happy you have come to my blog to leave the comment about the 'Alice' mixed media canvas I have been working on. I need to post more photos as I have added more embellishments. I think of you often, as cherish the doll which I have of yours from the 'Pay it Forward' event.
    Blessings to you, my friend!

  3. It was lovely to get a comment from you this morning, and I hopped right on over (much like the robin) to say hello.

It feels like a long time since I last did any gardening, there is much to catch up with, but it’s just lovely to be outside in the sunshine.

I loved all your photos, but my favourite is the one with the dandelion. They are such difficult things to photograph, but you managed to find one that is perfect. Did you blow on the seeds to check the time? I can’t resist doing it, even though I know dandelion seeds are a nightmare for gardeners.

    1. Hi Barbara thanks for dropping by. No actually I did not blow on it because it was on the edge of the banks of the canal so I was afraid I might topple over if I stepped any closer. I had to zoom in to get the shot :-)

    2. Well I think that was very sensible - would hate to think of you falling in the canal! :) Hope you are enjoying the sunshine.

  5. Beautiful flowers. I expect robin is hoping for mealworms. Our allotment one has got very tame.

  6. He has stopped following me now. I guess his little ones have fledged and gone so he is not too worried about food anymore😀
