Dead leaf sketch
Painting dead leaves are challenging. I tried to do this one, not pleased with it. So difficult to get the variations in brown colour. At least I find it difficult.
it can be difficult to get the folds and variation in leaves, you did a good job on this :) just grab another one if you are really not happy with it,practice makes perfect :)
Hello Shashi, I think your depiction of a leaf is excellent. I can't comment on the colours because I've not seen the actual leaf but the painting, shape, form, etc., is really, really good. If I could paint anywhere near as well I would be patting myself on the back. Thanks for coming over and your very thoughtful comment, I got your note about the duplication and deleted the second one. It is easily done. It is really nice to be among blogging friends again although taking a holiday was also pretty good. :-) x
i agree dead leaves are hard and you definitely captured it in my opinion - the folds, curves, etc...dried out look - really good.
