Back to school

LOL! Not quite but I did start my water colour painting classes today. We are doing the figure this term. We had a model pose for us nude. As I have never done something like this before I didn't know what to expect. But in the end it all turned out ok. I rather enjoyed the class. We had to work out the proportions and then paint the figure first in cool colours and then in warm colours. The first is in cool colours and the second is in warm colours. It is not great but ok for a first attempt I think.

  1. No, it's WONDERFUL! Shashi, you captured MOVEMENT in your painting! It's amazing to see such fluidity in a watercolor! You are WAY better than you give yourself credit for! LOVELY!
